A dispatch rider identified as Austin Ikenna Adiele, has allegedly absconded with 35 grammes of gold valued at approximately N7 million, which he was entrusted with to deliver to a customer in Lagos.

According to the story, Adiele, who reportedly worked with Errand Boys Express Logistics at No. 5 Julius Nnamere Close, Igando, Lagos, picked up the gold for delivery before disappearing and switching off his phone.

Following police intervention, he was reportedly traced to Surulere, Lagos, where he was last seen on Monday, August 17, 2026.

However, efforts to locate him have reportedly been unsuccessful, while the whereabouts of the missing gold remain unknown.
