Former Secretary to the State Government in Oyo State, Alhaji Waheed Akintola Olajide, is dead.
Olajide, a prominent muslim leader and educationist, served as secretary to the state government during the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
The Ibadan-born chartered accountant and alumnus of the University of Ife and University of Ibadan, according to information gathered died on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Janazah prayers for him has been scheduled to hold Wednesday morning, August 26, 2026, at Muslim Association of Nigeria (MAN) Centre, Oke Ado, Ibadan.
